Fencing
I love fencing. I gotta say it again, just for emphasis–I love fencing. I was never really into any sports, especially as a kid, until someone who was once very close to me introduced me to it. Needless to say, I fell in love with it–it has a certain elegance to it while retaining both mental and physical elements, so I get a nice workout combined with a fun intellectual game I get to play with others everytime I’m on the strip. I’m currently unranked in sabre but am part of the USFA, so hopefully I’ll eventually be ranked (at the very least) an “E” so I can feel proud of myself. Until then (and even after), you’ll find me competing in local tournaments around South and Central Florida, sometimes North Florida if it’s an inter-collegiate event. I’ll always post on my blog right before something goes down and the results afterward, so all my readers will be informed. And if you have any questions about it, feel free to ask me–I love this sport!!!
